Experts from 19 countries and 5 continents were present at the Audio Branding Awards 2015 in Berlin. After the Academy Day on May 27th, the finalists presented their Best Practice Cases to the international expert audience. At the gala event with awards ceremony on a boat cruise on the River Spree, the following submissions were honoured:
- Gold: Wiener Linien – Public transport of Vienna. Agency SOUND STRATEGY / why do birds (Austria / Germany)
- Silver: French Open – Tennis Tournament Roland Garros. Agency Sixième Son (France)
- Bronze: Fruttare – Ice cream by Unilever. Agency CORD Worldwide (UK)

The honoured works show that Audio Branding applications are becoming more comprehensive and sophisticated and vary between function and aesthetics. Classic marketing communications and live communications can hardly be imagined without Audio Branding nowadays and digital channels are increasingly being integrated.
Olaf Hartmann, founder and Managing Partner of the Multisense Institute, not only inspired the audience with his live performance of juggling with 5 balls. With lots of ostensive examples he showed how the perception of quality of a product, a brand or a performance improves when the senses are directly addressed.
